TransHans

A bus carrier's own ticket booking app, built from scratch so passengers can buy direct and avoid platform commissions. Online payments, KSeF e-invoicing and vehicle GPS run behind it. We've been developing it with TransHans since 2022.

The project

Their own sales channel, no platform in the middle

From third-party commissions to direct ticket sales

TransHans is a bus carrier. They sold tickets for their routes through third-party booking platforms, which meant a commission on every ticket and no control over their own sales or passenger data. They came to us in 2022 with a clear need: get both back.

A list of trips and a checkout isn't the whole job. To sell on your own, you have to wire in online payments, issue KSeF e-invoices and keep track of the fleet, down to which bus is where. These are the integrations that decide whether running your own sales is even worth it.

We built their own booking app from scratch: trip search, fast checkout, passenger accounts, discounts and a loyalty program, ticket refunds, and a back office for routes, schedules and pricing. Online payments, KSeF e-invoicing and vehicle GPS run behind it. Passengers buy direct, and TransHans has full control of its sales and its data.

With no middleman, the commission disappears. That's either a better margin or a better price for the passenger. We've developed the system with TransHans continuously since 2022, adding features and staying with it when KSeF rules change or a new route comes in.

What's inside

How the system handles ticket sales

The system was built from scratch as the carrier's own sales channel. The integrations are fundamental to making direct sales work.
  • Online payments

Payment providers wired in, so passengers pay and the money goes straight to TransHans, with no platform in between.

  • KSeF e-invoicing

Invoices issued straight into Poland's KSeF, so direct sales stay compliant without manual paperwork.

  • Vehicle GPS

The fleet on a map, so operations and passengers know where each bus is.

  • Order & invoice module

Orders and invoices processed automatically, from purchase to receipt.

  • Route & stop management

Set up and change routes and stops without a developer.

  • Trip scheduling & pricing

Manage timetables and fares, and react fast when something changes.

  • Fast checkout

A short, clear path from picking a trip to paying for it.

  • Advanced search

Filter routes and available seats in seconds.

  • Passenger accounts

Passengers manage their bookings and see their purchase history.

  • Loyalty program

Points and rewards that bring passengers back.

  • Discounts & promotions

Flexible discount rules to fill seats and reward regulars.

  • Ticket refunds

    A simple, passenger-friendly refund process.

Next step

Selling through someone else's platform?

We built TransHans its own sales channel from scratch, with direct payments, KSeF e-invoicing and fleet GPS behind it. The commission disappears and the data stays with the company. Tell us where the middleman is costing you, and let's talk it through.
